The Impact portable multigas monitor is able to detect and display up to four gases simultaneously. These include oxygen, flammable, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide gases. Impact uses high specification sensors that are continually checked using a patented Reflex™ technology to ensure that safe, accurate and reliable measurements are always made.

Impact accepts a unique disposable sensor cartridge which is pre-calibrated and can be replaced in under one minute, thereby simplifying maintenance, reducing downtime, and minimizing total sensors cost. When utilizing Enforcer, 'bump test'/full calibrations can be simultaneously performed in under 90 seconds. Again, significantly reducing cost of ownership.

The Impact is a compact and rugged detector designed for all environments. Small, lightweight and unobtrusive, it is ideal for use in confined spaces where entry and exit may be difficult. The unit is a comprehensive tool fully configurable to your unique requirements. The unit provides an optional internal pump which activates on demand by simply attaching the sampling hose.

Ultra-bright alarm lights and a powerful audible alarm coupled with a periodic green flash and watchdog beep provide user confidence that monitoring is always in operation and alarms are never missed. In addition, Impact uses a large, multi-lingual, backlit display guided by an intuitive menu system to facilitate use and minimize operator training.

ImpactPro includes Safelink software which allows two instruments to communicate. The 'Attendant' at the point of entry to a confined space easily monitors the 'Entrant' working in the confined space via a unique communications link. Communications are continually checked and user programmed messages can be passed back and forth to ensure that regulations for working in confined spaces are observed.

Regulations demand daily testing of gas monitoring equipment to ensure your unit operates properly. The Enforcer affords quick, simple, uniform compliance with federal regulations at absolute minimal costs.

It is required that 'bump' testing be carried out each day before any portable gas detector is used. To bump a unit requires exposing each sensor to a known concentration of target gas to confirm that the unit responds accurately.

Personal gas monitors must be calibrated to manufacturers' specifications. Such 'bump' and calibrations can require specialized knowledge and ancillary equipment which are costly and time consuming. Proper calibrations result in down time and additional hidden costs - such as freight, wasted man hours, back-up equipment, etc.

Enforcer 'bumps' and calibrates Impact monitors fitted with any combination of Oxygen, Flammable, Carbon Monoxide and Hydrogen Sulfide cartridge in under 90 seconds. Strict gas volumes and flow rates allow up to 200 calibrations per cylinder of gas while using the Enforcer. So, when you calibrate you 'bump', when you 'bump' you calibrate; in under 90 seconds regardless, thereby remarkably lowering 'bump'/calibration costs permanently.

All calibration information is automatically stored on the Impact for comprehensive record keeping. Simple PC software included.

Designed to provide personal safety, the MicroMAX+ is OSHA compliant. Its rugged aluminum and rubber case provides superior RFI/EMI shielding, as well as dust, water and impact resistance. MicroMAX+ is designed, tested and manufactured under strict ISO 9001 quality systems, and is UL classified and CSA certified intrinsically safe for use in Class I, II, III, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D, E, F, and G areas.

The unit has many preset and field selectable alarms and has user selectable TWA or immediate alarm modes. Both audible and visual alarms warn the user if the oxygen levels are either too low or enriched, and when combustible gas or toxic gas levels are too high. The toxic gas alarm can be easily adjusted in the field from immediate to TWA. Alarms will also activate in case of sensor failure, low battery voltage, pump blockage or low air flow.

Our unique microprocessor design allows for self diagnostics with each start up. MicroMAX+ internally data logs individual channel alarms, TWA averaging and peak information. With a push of the "Mode" button, review information as well as check battery voltage and elapsed time.

Calibration is easier than ever before - it's all automatic - no tools, screws or stopwatch required. Simply place in calibration "Mode", introduce calibration gas and wait for voice/display indicating calibration is complete! A NiMH rechargeable battery pack and 4-hour charger are now included with each monitor.

Four languages (English, French, German and Spanish) are included with each monitor - just select the desired language. Every function, when activated, is accompanied with a voice message. Everything from immediate warnings to simple on and off functions are communicated verbally to the user. This feature is also very valuable in poorly lit situations. And, the language displayed on the new 4-line display is the same as the one selected for the voice.
